§ 01
The challenge
Meridian Plumbing had been running for three generations without a website. All their business came from word of mouth and a Yellow Pages ad they'd been renewing out of habit. When the owner's son took over, he knew they were invisible to anyone who didn't already know them. Competitors with half their experience were dominating local search results and getting the calls that should have been theirs.
§ 02
The approach
We built a 12-page site organized around their core services — emergency repairs, water heater installation, repiping, and drain cleaning. Each service page targets specific long-tail keywords their customers actually search for ('burst pipe repair Provo' rather than 'plumbing services'). We added a click-to-call button that stays fixed on mobile screens, because when someone has a flooded basement at 2am, they're not filling out a form. The site loads in under 1.5 seconds on a 4G connection.
§ 03
The result
Meridian received 47 service calls directly attributed to the website in the first 30 days. By month three, they had hired two additional technicians to handle the increased volume. Their Google Maps listing now ranks in the top three for 14 different plumbing-related searches in the Provo metro area. The owner told us his only complaint is that he can't clone his best plumber fast enough.
§ 04 · Client
"My dad ran this business for 30 years without a website. In one month with Lamb & Lyon, we got more new calls than we'd see in a typical quarter."
